Meet Our Team
Madison grew up in the Central Valley theater scene and founded MAC Theater Camp with a mission to empower students to rise to the occasion. As a director, choreographer, actor, and teacher, she has worked with students of all ages—from 6 to 60—across Merced, teaching at Playhouse Merced, MCOE and MUHSD schools, Stone Ridge Christian School, and beyond. Her greatest honor and joy is working with your students, giving them the tools they need to succeed on and off stage. After the wonderful successes of the past few semesters, Madi is so excited to start the next adventure.
MADISON MITCHELL

PROGRAM DIRECTOR

A lifelong fan of musical theatre, Caleb originally brought shows to life from the pit orchestra, performing the reed book in shows such as My Favorite Year, The Fantasticks, and many more. Since moving to Merced, he primarily works behind the scenes as lead sound designer and engineer for shows such as Fiddler on the Roof and Peter Pan. When he's not frantically swapping dead batteries out of mic packs or trying to figure out where that annoying hiss is coming from, he can be found teaching music technology, swing band, and songwriting at UC Merced.
